Room converted into a High Standard Hair Salon, Chiropody & Therapy facilities established.
Received Interface Quality Assurance Programme, Certificate of Accreditation: 3 Stars Quality Rating. ALCC is now a member of a group of Accredited Quality Homes, receiving three quality stars out of a maximum of four. Following a Quality Assurance review in 2008 it was found that standards in the Care Centre accord with certain Quality Standards indentified in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 and in addition fulfill the current requirements of the Care Standards Act 2000.
Two Bathrooms converted into walk-in showers with wheeled shower chair access.
Received Investors in People, Certificate of Commitment. ALCC has made a commitment to work towards becoming an Investor in People.
New garden fences fitted outside the Care Centre.
3 new Sign Boards have been fitted outside ALCC.
Handrails have been fitted in all corridors of the Care Centre.
Beautification and minor re-furbishment take place.
A new laundry system has been installed by JLA that employs the latest OTEX technology i.e. kills all Bacteria, Viruses and Superbugs on all wash cycles.
